Suwanee Smiles is a modern, patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a warm, welcoming environment. We pride ourselves on professionalism, excellent customer service, and building lasting relationships with our patients. Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and is essential in ensuring a smooth and positive experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and experience in a dental or medical office setting. Responsibilities: Greet patients with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude. Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries. Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect co-pays and balances. Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software. Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors to ensure smooth patient flow. Handle insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and submit claims as needed. Follow up on outstanding patient balances and insurance claims. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications: Prior experience in a dental or medical front desk role preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance plans is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient with dental practice management software Open Dental and Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
