We are seeking a motivated, experienced Team Leader / Dental Office Manager to lead our team and help us continue raising the standard of care in our community. Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development -Lead and supervise daily office operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and patient-centered care. -Coach and support team members in patient service, treatment planning, insurance verification, and related areas. -Recruit, hire, and train employees; provide ongoing feedback and assist with annual performance reviews. -Communicate objectives, motivate staff, and maintain a positive, cooperative, and values-driven work environment. -Promote teamwork, morale, and enthusiasm while ensuring the practice functions as a cohesive unit. Operations & Patient Experience -Maintain focus on productive scheduling, adequate staffing, treatment planning and addressing employee and patient concerns. -Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and reporting requirements. -Support and develop local marketing strategies to increase patient growth. -Facilitate resolution of patient issues that cannot be addressed by the doctor or other staff members. -Maintain a facility that is clean, organized, and visually appealing to patients and staff. Financial & Practice Management -Manage practice productivity and profitability while adhering to monthly budgets. -Report financial statements and key performance indicators for review with regional management. -Set performance goals based on prior results and practice mission; design strategies to achieve those goals. -Oversee insurance processes including eligibility verification, claim submission, payment posting, adjustments, patient refunds, and accounts receivable monitoring. -Resolve financial concerns with patients, collect delinquent accounts, and arrange special financial accommodations when appropriate. -Establish and manage inventory control systems; ensure adequate stock of supplies, perform audits, and negotiate for best pricing. Qualifications -Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. -Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental practice management. -Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. -Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. -Thorough understanding of dental billing, coding, and insurance processes. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care. -Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (preferred, not required).
