Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Patient Experience & Insurance Coordinator to join our front office team. This hybrid role combines administrative excellence with outstanding interpersonal skills. You’ll be responsible for everything from verifying insurance and coordinating treatment plans to engaging patients through Dental Intelligence and ensuring a five-star experience from check-in to follow-up. Key Responsibilities:Front Desk & Patient Engagement -Greet and check in/out patients warmly, creating a welcoming environment -Manage phone, text, and online communication through Dental Intelligence and RingCentral -Monitor missed calls and follow up proactively using smart engagement tools -Send digital forms, follow-up texts, appointment reminders, and review requests -Engage patients to boost treatment acceptance and satisfaction -Encourage Google reviews and assist with online reputation management Insurance & Billing -Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments (using portals/Vyne) -Accurately enter and update insurance details in Open Dental -Submit and track claims, post EOBs, and resolve denials -Collect co-pays and apply after-hours fees appropriately -Ensure billing codes and patient balances are correct and up to date Treatment Coordination -Present treatment plans clearly and confidently -Educate patients on procedures, insurance coverage, and payment options -Support scheduling of treatment and follow-ups -Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless transitions Requirements: -Minimum 3 years of front desk experience in a dental practice -Proficiency in Open Dental is required -Experience with Dental Intelligence and Vyne is a plus -Strong understanding of PPO dental insurance and billing -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -High attention to detail and ability to multitask -Strong customer service mindset with a team-first attitude Possible Schedule (Variable) Tuesday- Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM Perks & Growth Opportunities: -Join a mission-driven, expanding dental team -Receive ongoing training in Open Dental, patient engagement, and treatment planning -In-House Dental Benefits for yourself and dependents -Monthly Bonus based on Targets & Office Performance -Be part of a positive and supportive work environment with room to grow Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
