Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Pediatric Dental Office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of medical office management, and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations, financial management, and staff supervision to ensure smooth clinic functioning and exceptional patient care. The Practice Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards, managing budgets, and supporting clinical staff across various specialties including dental, acute care, and veterinary services. Duties Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient service Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation Supervise administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and HIPAA privacy rules Coordinate with clinical teams to optimize practice workflows and support medical management initiatives Oversee medical administrative support functions such as medical records, billing, coding, and documentation Monitor utilization management and managed care processes to maximize operational efficiency Implement policies related to human resources management within the practice setting Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, hospital procedures, and healthcare industry best practices Support clinic accreditation efforts and quality assurance programs Experience Proven experience in medical office or healthcare management with a strong background in office management or practice administration Supervising experience in a healthcare setting is essential Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and others Knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting and financial oversight Prior experience in dental office management or veterinary practice is advantageous Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management Experience working within acute care or hospital environments is preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams effectively Background in medical terminology, managed care processes, utilization management, and healthcare compliance standards such as JCAHO This Practice Manager role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic healthcare team while ensuring operational excellence.
