Registered Dental Assistant - Hygiene (RDA) Responsible for providing routine assistance. This includes but is not limited: Proficiency in chairside assisting and general dentistry Assisting the Hygienist in seating patients and taking X-rays and vitals before providers enter the room Reviewing and updating our patient’s medical history, obtaining signatures to necessary consent forms. Preparing and sterilizing instruments, materials and equipment Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Sustaining inventory within operatories Assist with completing treatment plans Document records of dental treatments performed
