Key Responsibilities; Provide high-level chairside assisting for preventive, restorative and surgical procedures. Anticipate doctor needs and maintain efficient workflow. Educate patients in Spanish and English on treatment and post-op care. Take high-quality digital X-rays. Assist with advanced procedures (extractions, endo, implants. Maintain OSHA and infection control standards. A competent and experienced dental assistant with front office knowledge who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and perform back office clinical AND front office dental tasks when needed. candidate must be well-organized with great attention to detail, able to work in a busy office, must be a team player. Preferred individual MUST be Professional, punctual and committed. individual must be able to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and respect dental office patients and staff. SERIOUS CANDIDATES ONLY! EXPERIENCE A MUST Responsibilities include welcoming patients to the dental office, preparing them for treatments or checkups while ensuring their comfort, and setting up the necessary instruments, equipment, and materials. Instruments must be sterilized according to regulations, and assistance provided to the dentist through 4-handed dentistry. Experience in same-day dentistry preferred. Additional tasks include completing lab work as instructed, offering oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked, and tidying up at the end of each day. Scheduling appointments, presenting treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records are also required. Duties involve fabricating temporary crowns promptly, as well as taking impressions, pouring them up, and making temporary crowns as needed. Hiring is expected to be immediate.
