Integrity Family Dental is a small, private dental practice in Heath, TX, located between Rockwall and Forney. We are seeking an experienced chairside dental assistant who loves the Lord, will work well within a small practice, be a team player, and who genuinely understands the importance of building relationships with patients. The dental assistant must have initiative, integrity and high moral values. The duties of the assistant will include, but are not limited to, the following: -Set up operatory for treatment -Greet and seat patient in warm, friendly manner -Take high quality x-rays -Assist the dentist with all dental procedures -Clean and sterilize op and instruments after treatment, per OSHA guidelines -Pack cord and fabricate temporary crowns -Scan for dental prosthetic procedures with quality and excellence -Floss, apply fluoride varnish as needed, and provide oral hygiene instructions after prophy -Assist with charting in Dentrix (clinical and periodontal charting) -Help track incoming lab cases -Order and stock supplies -Help clean office at end of day: operatory, bathroom, floor, trash -Perform routine maintenance and care of dental equipment -Perform spore test weekly -Read radiation monitoring badge monthly -Have a desire to minister to patients with humility, kindness and compassion
