Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Job description: Treatment Coordinator – Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Office Location: Keller, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (No weekends, no evenings) About Our Practice We are a patient-centered oral and maxillofacial surgery office dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care in a supportive, strong teamwork environment. Position Overview We are seeking a positive, hardworking, and intelligent Treatment Coordinator to join our close-knit team. In this key role, you will serve as the vital link between our surgeons, patients, and administrative processes; guiding patients through complex treatment plans, financial discussions, and scheduling for oral surgery procedures (including extractions, implants, pathology, orthognathic surgery, and more). What We Value Most in a Candidate A genuinely positive attitude and zero tolerance for drama Strong work ethic and dedication to quality Intelligence, quick learning ability, and excellent problem-solving skills A 'bring solutions, not headaches' approach Coachability and eagerness to improve and do better Timeliness, reliability, and attention to detail Outstanding patient care and communication skills Key Responsibilities Verify dental and medical insurance eligibility and benefits; submit pre-authorizations and claims as needed Present and explain treatment plans recommended by the surgeons in a clear, compassionate, and confident manner Discuss financial options, including insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and payment plans Coordinate scheduling for consultations, surgeries, follow-ups, and any required pre/post-operative appointments Build trust with patients, answer questions thoroughly, and help remove barriers to proceeding with recommended care Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and communication logs Collaborate closely with the clinical and administrative team to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional experiences Answering phones, following referral office protocol and keeping up to date with our new patient system. As with the entire team, you will be cross trained in all front desk job duties and will need to be able and capable to fill in where needed.
