Smile Land Family Dental | Full-Time | Northwest San Antonio | $16–$20/hr + $500 Sign-on Bonus + Full Benefits The First Smile Patients See Now hiring an experienced Dental Front Desk Coordinator in Northwest San Antonio and we're offering a $500 sign-on bonus to the right candidate. At Smile Land Family Dental, the front desk isn't just where patients check in it's where their experience begins. We're looking for someone who can own that moment with warmth, confidence, and professionalism, while keeping the operational side of our busy practice running like clockwork. If you know your way around insurance breakdowns, treatment plans, and EOBs and you genuinely enjoy connecting with patients we'd love to meet you. What You'll Own Verifying PPO and Medicaid insurance and delivering accurate, easy-to-understand breakdowns Entering insurance frequencies and keeping patient records airtight Presenting treatment plans and walking patients through financial arrangements with clarity and care Posting payments and managing account balances Confirmation calls and recall list management Submitting pre-determinations and following up on pending claims Reviewing and interpreting EOBs Writing insurance narratives and submitting X-rays to carriers Coordinating specialty referrals Running EOD and EOM reports Keeping the reception area polished, professional, and welcoming Helping with inventory tracking and general office support What You Bring Dental front office experience (required) Strong command of PPO & Medicaid insurance workflows Hands-on experience with claims, EOBs, and treatment planning Comfort with ADA codes and dental terminology Excellent communication and people skills you make patients feel at ease Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational instincts Reliable, professional, and a true team player What We Offer $500 sign-on bonus (paid per our standard schedule details discussed at offer) Competitive hourly pay: $16–$20/hr (based on experience) Monthly bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) Life and disability insurance Voluntary benefit options Employee discount A supportive, team-oriented environment where your work is seen and valued About Smile Land Family Dental Led by Dr. Bassam Abazid, DDS a Patients' Choice Award winner who graduated summa cum laude with top honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry Smile Land Family Dental has built a reputation for compassionate, high-quality family and cosmetic dentistry in Northwest San Antonio.
