Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dental team. The EFDA will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and performing expanded functions as allowed by state regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to patient satisfaction. This is a part-time position, 2 afternoons a week. Two Fridays and two Saturdays a month until noon. Bonus is offered for working these hours. Requirements: RDA/CDA Certification CPR Certification EFDA Certification Xray Certification Skills Required: Assists doctor, which includes but is not limited to charting, placement of fillings, Invisalign attachments, operatory set/clean up, and patient education. Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance. Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction. Prepare all lab cases Responsible for checking in lab cases Preferred Qualification: Experience: 1 Year Experience. Excellent Communication Skills. Self Motivated, Punctual, Team Player. Dentrix and Trios Experience Preferred. Experience in Implants and Invisalign. Proficiency in dental assistant terminology and procedures.
