Job description: ### Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist during procedures. Monday- Thursday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm ### Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar from teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials - Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care ### Experience: CURRENT AND ACTIVE : STATE OF TENNESSEE REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST - Proficiency in infection control protocols and practices - Experience using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software - Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information - Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions Join our team of dedicated professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
