We’re a growing, privately owned practice, and we’re looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who wants more than a chair and a schedule. We’re building something here, and we want a hygienist who wants to build it with us — and grow with it. Why This Role Is Different We’re intentionally growing over the next several years, which means the hygienist who joins now joins early. You’ll help shape how our hygiene department runs, have a real voice in patient care standards, and have a clear path to grow into a Lead Hygienist role as we expand. We invest in our people because the team that stays together gets better together — and we’d rather grow our leaders than constantly replace them. What You’ll Do •Deliver thorough, gentle prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventive care that patients actually look forward to coming back for. •Perform comprehensive assessments — periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and radiographs — and flag findings clearly for the doctor. •Educate patients on their oral health in plain language, building the trust that drives treatment acceptance and healthy re-care habits. •Partner with the doctor and assistants to keep the day flowing, hand-offs clean, and patients on time. •Help us hit our hygiene re-appointment goals — because consistent recall is how patients stay healthy and how the practice stays strong. •Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards without being asked. What We’re Looking For •Active Illinois Dental Hygiene license (RDH) in good standing, plus current CPR/BLS certification. •Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. •Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification preferred (we’ll support you in getting it if you don’t have it). •A genuine warmth with patients and a team-first attitude — we hire for character as much as clinical skill. •Comfort with digital charting; experience with Open Dental or similar practice-management software is a plus. •New graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply — we mentor.
