Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Carrollton, GA. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and routine checkups for patients of diverse ages and backgrounds. Daily responsibilities include performing fillings, crowns, extractions, and other general procedures; interpreting x-rays and other diagnostics; and ensuring accurate, thorough charting in the practice management system. The dentist will educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventive care, while maintaining high standards for infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role also involves working closely with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow, strong patient satisfaction, and alignment with practice goals. Qualifications *Licensed (or license-eligible) General Dentist in the state of Georgia, with a DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. *Strong clinical skills in examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and a broad range of general dentistry procedures (e.g., restorative, basic prosthodontics, simple surgery). *Commitment to patient-centered care, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to explain treatment options in accessible language. *Comfort working with digital dental technology such as digital radiography, electronic health records, and modern dental equipment. *Ability to collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff in a fast-paced clinical setting. *Solid understanding of infection control standards, OSHA regulations, and best practices for maintaining a safe, compliant dental environment. *Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a full schedule while maintaining quality of care and documentation accuracy. *Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to learning new techniques, materials, and technologies. *Experience in cosmetic or aesthetic dentistry is a plus, including interest in expanding skills in this area. *Experience working with diverse patient populations and a demonstrated commitment to equity and non-discriminatory care.
