Description
We're Hiring: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and a Dental Assistant! Join Our Friendly, Private Family Owned, Patient-Focused Dental Team! We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and dependable Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing practice. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and take pride in delivering high-quality dentistry, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities • Perform expanded functions in accordance with state regulations and licensure. • Assist the dentist during restorative and other dental procedures. • Take digital radiographs, digital scans and CBCT • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. • Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA and infection control protocols. • Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care. • Accurately document treatment in the electronic dental record. • Support a positive patient experience by providing compassionate, professional care. Qualifications • Current EFDA certification/licensure if applicable • CPR certification. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Experience with Dentrix helpful • A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
