Dental Treatment Coordinator Full-Time | Oral Surgery & Periodontal Practice Are you passionate about helping patients move forward with the dental care they need? We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and results-driven Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who excels at patient communication, treatment presentation, insurance verification, and scheduling while providing an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Present treatment plans and explain procedures and financial options to patients. Review and verify insurance benefits prior to surgery. Audit treatment plans to ensure accuracy of fees and insurance estimates. Maintain daily treatment trackers and follow up with unscheduled treatment using phone, text, and email. Coordinate oral surgery schedules to maximize productivity. Submit and track pre-authorizations and notify patients once approvals are received. Prepare and submit dental claims and supporting documentation. Respond promptly to patient messages through phone, email, text, Podium, and Weave. Reschedule missed consultations and surgery appointments. Ensure treatment plans are signed prior to surgery. Document all patient communications accurately in the patient chart. Assist with front office duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting patient check-in as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Dental Treatment Coordinator experience (Oral Surgery or Periodontal experience preferred). Strong knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, and financial arrangements. Experience with pre-authorizations, insurance verification, and claim submission. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced specialty practice.
