What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during restorative, pediatric, surgical and general dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs and intraoral images
- Review and document accurate patient medical and dental histories
- Provide exceptional patient care and help patients feel comfortable and informed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment notes
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories according to OSHA and infection-control standards
- Set up and break down operatories efficiently between patients
- Assist with laboratory procedures, scanning for impressions, models, and dental appliances as needed
- Communicate effectively with the dentist, clinical team, and front office
