Smile By Design is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental team in Douglasville, GA. We are looking for someone who provides exceptional customer service, communicates confidently with patients, and can help keep the front office running efficiently in a busy dental practice. Key Responsibilities: • Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage the appointment schedule • Schedule and confirm new and existing patient appointments • Coordinate treatment appointments and follow up on unscheduled treatment • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits • Assist with insurance claims, estimates, and patient financial questions • Collect patient payments and maintain accurate account information • Monitor recalls, overdue hygiene appointments, and cancellations • Maintain accurate patient records and protect patient confidentiality • Work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient daily schedule Qualifications: • Previous dental front office experience is strongly preferred • Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and treatment coordination preferred • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Comfortable with computers and dental practice management software • Dependable, professional, positive, and team-oriented • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of the front desk, enjoys building relationships with patients, and understands that excellent patient care begins with the first phone call and continues through checkout.
