We are looking for someone who is **passionate about dentistry, passionate about patient care, and passionate about helping our practice grow.** The Role Our New Patient Coordinator is often the **first impression a patient has of our practice**. This position plays an important role in welcoming new patients, understanding their needs, removing barriers to scheduling, and helping them take the next step toward receiving care. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the new patient experience and who understands that every phone call is an opportunity to build a relationship and grow our practice. Responsibilities * Answer incoming new patient calls and inquiries with warmth, confidence, and professionalism * Create an exceptional first impression for every new patient * Listen carefully to understand the patient's needs, concerns, and reason for calling * **Find the YES** and look for solutions rather than unnecessary barriers * Schedule new patient exams, emergency visits, hygiene appointments, and treatment as appropriate * Follow up with new patient leads who have not yet scheduled * Communicate with patients by phone, text, email, and in person * Collect and accurately enter patient information * Help patients understand what to expect at their first visit * Work closely with our doctors, hygienists, treatment coordinators, and administrative team * Help keep new patient appointments on the schedule * Identify opportunities to schedule needed treatment and additional care * Work toward scheduling and production goals * Maintain accurate and organized patient records * Help wherever needed to support the team and provide an excellent patient experience * Take initiative and look for ways to improve systems, scheduling, and the overall patient experience What We're Looking For The right person will be: * **Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic** * Self-motivated and able to take initiative * Meticulous and detail-oriented * Excellent with patients and genuinely enjoys helping people * Confident and professional on the phone * A strong communicator in person, by phone, and through email * Positive and solution-focused * Emotionally intelligent and able to work through challenges professionally * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * A team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed * Someone who takes pride in their work and patient care * Someone who puts both their **head and their heart** into what they do * Someone who is excited about helping our business grow * Looking for a **long-term dental home** and not simply a temporary position Skills & Experience Required **1 year of dental experience required.** Experience in the following areas is strongly preferred: * Treatment coordinating * Insurance verification * Dental scheduling * Scheduling to goal * New patient coordination * Patient follow-up **Eaglesoft experience preferred but not required.** Excellent patient communication skills via: * Phone * In person * Email * Text Our Team At Suwanee Family Dentistry, we believe that our patients deserve exceptional care—and our team members deserve a workplace where they feel valued, supported, and appreciated.
