Dental Hygeine Assistant Job Posting

We are a vibrant, patient-centered dental practice looking for an enthusiastic Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with little-to-no dental experience who is eager to learn, grow, and start a stable career in the dental field. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities: • Greet and seat patients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable. • Prepare and break down hygiene operatories between patients, adhering strictly to OSHA and CDC safety standards. • Assist the dental hygienist during cleanings, oral exams, and charting. • Take dental X-rays (as allowed by state regulations). • Restock treatment rooms and maintain instrument sterilization. • Help maintain smooth daily patient flow and answer basic patient questions. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Positive, team-first attitude with strong communication skills. • Willingness to learn dental software Eaglesoft and clinical terminology. • Current X-ray and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire, per state rules).
