We build lasting and trusting relationships with our patients, and therefore feel like they are more family than a customer. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic new hygiene team member. All experience levels welcome and pay rate may be negotiable based on experience. If you are looking for a long term dental family to join, we would love to meet you. Our practice offers state of the art equipment such as portable imaging device (Nomad) Hands free suction (Isolite and Releaf), and Florida Probe. We take a whole-body approach to our patients treatment in order to provide care that will promote optimum health and well-being, as well as improve our patients smile. Dr. Pickwick is an advocate of continuing education and stays up to date with the latest advances in dentistry in order to provide the highest possible quality of care. Candidates being considered for this position will receive compensation above the national average for Registered Dental Hygienist based on knowledge and experience. We welcome new graduates and a Medical Insurance package available soon. Looking for 16-24 hours per week Responsibilities: Screen and educate patients on oral hygiene, oral health, oral disease, and available dental procedures and services; verify patient health history and document in the patient's chart Perform clinical hygiene functions according to applicable scope-of-practice laws and regulations Present hygiene treatment plans to patients; educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Prepare patient chart entries; order and maintain oral hygiene supplies and deliverable products for the office; and clean and prepare operatory per OSHA and CDC guidelines before patient appointments Implement business solutions by building partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs Comply with company policies and procedures and support company standards of ethics and integrity
