FISH (Faith In Serving Humanity) Dental clinic is looking to hire a part time dental assistant. We are in search of a dedicated, hard-working assistant to be a part of our Christian-based team in Monroe, Georgia. We provide free dental services (fillings, extractions, and dentures) to our low-income residents here in Walton County. We are looking for an applicant who is comfortable working with different volunteer dentists, is self-motivating and can work independently, and is punctual and reliable. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures (fillings, extractions, and occasionally crowns and endo) - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take x-rays (we use a Nomad and Pan Machine-training can be provided if you haven't used the equipment before) - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Taking impressions - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation (We use Dentrix-training can be provided) If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to fishdentistry@gmail.com Thank you and have a blessed day!
