Aside from having great clinical skills, it's important for us that our assistants are people person, meaning that they genuinely care about patients' well -being and are able to talk to and get to know all of our patients. Requirements: - 2 plus years of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant. - High school degree - Strong patient-facing communication, service mindset, and attention to detail. - Knowledge of infection control, instrument sterilization, and OSHA/HIPAA standards. Preferred: - Familiarity with digital radiography and Open Dental software. - Bi-lingual: Spanish - Certification What You’ll Do: - Assisting the doctors on all procedures - Sterilizing and maintaining our instruments/equipment/operatories/chairs, etc. - Keeping accurate notes/records on all patient treatment - Proper room set-up (including trays, instruments, equipment) before and during each procedure. - Take radiographs, assist with impressions, model pouring/trimming/polishing. - Support provisional and appliance care (e.g., temporary restorations; clean/polish removable appliances). - Provide clear patient education on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-op instructions. - Accurately chart and document services in patient records while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. - Use equipment and supplies responsibly, keep operatory stocked and organized. - Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment; perform other related duties as assigned. - Job Type: Full Time or Part Time - Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience - Work Location: In person
