Kids Dental Studio is a pediatric dental office located in the heart of the Grant Park neighborhood. Our office is made up of a small team with multiple pediatric dentists. We are low volume but fast paced office as we strive to deliver the best customer service! We are looking for someone eager to join an amazing team as a dental assistant. JOB requirements: - Dental assistant certificate with xray certification from accredited school -expanded functions and coronal polishing certificate or willing to obtain within 90 days -CPR/BLS certified --1 full year working in a dental office (pediatric preferred) -Clean criminal background and drug free -Experience with behavior management -3 references Duties: -Assists doctor with restorative treatment (must know steps to all pedo procedures) -Obtain diagnostic radiographs -Coronal polish age-appropriate patients -Complete chart notes using proper dental terminology and grammar -Perform sterilization duties and maintain sanitary work station -Assistant with office cleaning duties -Provides oral hygiene instructions to family Bonus: experience with hospital dentistry and IV sedation PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT OFFICE DIRECTLY REGARDING JOB POST OR CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR HIRE.
