Private office looking for an experienced dental assistant (at least 1 yr; expanded duties is preferred). We welcome someone who is open to becoming part of a fun office providing individualized care for our patients. We are looking for an exceptional person highly who is highly motivated and who has great communication and organizational skills or willingness to develop them. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a professional manner, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in helping others. Responsibilities: Verify patient medical history and inquire about dental concerns Take digital x-rays Set up and break down patient treatment rooms Chart the doctor's observations, doctor/patient comments, recommended treatment, etc. during clinical exams Effectively provide dental education to increase patient awareness of proper oral health and the importance of any recommended treatment Understand insurance benefits for patients Coordinate with other team members to work in treatment as the schedule allows All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills Exceptional attention-to-detail Hours of Operation: Monday: 8:00am-5:00Ppm Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Saturday (every other): 8:00am - 5:00pm Benefits include PTO, holiday pay (up to 6 days/year), and bonuses for the right candidate.
