Position Overview: The dental hygienist is a vital part of our practice and plays an essential role in delivering top-notch care to our patients while ensuring they have a positive and comfortable experience. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional preventive care, including dental cleaning, X-rays, fluoride applications, and periodontal therapy. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care. Assist in developing and implementing individual treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including assessments, treatments, and recommendations. Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean, organized operatory. Stay informed about the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques, tools, and technologies. Support clinical team with inventory checks and ensure hygiene-related supplies are stocked. Promote a positive, welcoming atmosphere for patients and team members. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program Active state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records is a plus Work Environment: Working in a dental operatory, while performing cleanings and assessments. May require standing for extended periods and exposure to dental equipment and materials. Collaborative and patient-focused, with an emphasis on building rapport and comfort with patients. Often high-paced, requiring multitasking.
