Full-Time Cross-Trained Dental Assistant & Front Office We are a well-established and growing general dental practice seeking a versatile, Cross-Trained Professional to join our team. This unique role is designed for someone who is equally comfortable providing high-quality clinical assistance chairside and supporting our front-office operations. This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation: Starting at $26/hour, with potential for a higher rate based on qualifications and experience. About the Role: The ideal candidate is a proactive 'bridge' between our clinical and administrative areas. We are looking for a kind, compassionate, and highly organized professional who can seamlessly transition from assisting the doctor to helping a patient at the front desk. Key Responsibilities: -Clinical: Four-handed dentistry, taking digital X-rays, sterilization, and patient education. -Administrative: Answering phones, scheduling/confirming appointments, and verifying insurance. -Patient Flow: Coordinating with the team to ensure a smooth transition for patients from the waiting room to the operatory and back to check-out. -Treatment Coordination: Supporting the presentation of treatment plans and collection of fees. Requirements: -A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a general dental practice (with both clinical and front desk experience preferred). -Proficient in Dentrix (both clinical charting and administrative scheduling). -Current Georgia dental assisting credentials (including X-ray certification). -Strong multitasking abilities and a 'team-first' mentality. -A professional, warm, and approachable demeanor.
