Job Overview Want to join the Best Orthodontic Practice in Gwinnett? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast pace ortho team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the orthodontist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages. Duties: -Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures (bonding braces/Invisalign attachments, braces adjustments, braces removal) ensuring a -smooth workflow. -Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. -Take orthodontic records such as iTero Scanning, Images, and X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes. -Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. -Maintain accurate patient records -Cloud 9 Software -Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality customer care in a friendly environment. The successful candidate should possess the following skills: -Proficient in dental/orthodontic terminology. -Excellent customer service. -Experience or knowledge in pediatrics to effectively communicate with younger patients. -Competence in X-ray procedures and safety protocols. -iTero scanning -Strong background in dental /orthodontic assisting techniques (2 years). -Knowledge of aseptic technique to ensure patient safety. -Bilingual in Spanish/English If you are passionate about orthodontics and committed to providing excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as an Orthodontic Assistant.
