Description

We are immediately seeking an experienced Front Office Staff Member to join our Pediatric Dental office. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage all aspects of patient communication including: appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out at front desk and all phone/email appointment inquiries and reminders. • Verify dental insurance eligibility and detailed benefits, effectively communicate all estimates and financial responsibilities to clients, and collect payments. • Accurately submit dental insurance claims and provide detailed follow up until the claims are received. • Coordinate the daily office schedule including patient appointments and surgical schedule. • Maintain detailed electronic dental records and thorough documentation of all patient communication. • Other various office duties include but are not limited to: operating credit card processing machine, answering phone, maintaining office supply inventory, and creating spreadsheets and suggested reports as required. Qualifications: • Must have four year college degree with background in communication, marketing, or other business related field preferred. • Previous experience in front desk customer service or other similar work experience in dental setting strongly recommended. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software required. Prior use of Dentrix Ascend is preferred but not required. • Candidates must be highly motivated and have the organizational skills to successfully ensure our office operates in a timely and friendly manner, while upholding our dedication to provide a clean, safe, fun environment for our patients and families at all times.
