Privately owned orthodontic practice with 2 locations in Canton and Woodstock. We have a new position open to add one rockstar orthodontic assistant. Responsibilities: - Sterilization: Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for procedures - Records: Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging as directed by the orthodontist - Take Impressions and fabricate essix retainers - Assist the orthodontist with various dental procedures and treatments - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records using cloud 9. - All our employees are very well coordinated and work as a great team. We need our new team member to be the same Monday - Thursday 8:00 am -5:00 pm ( About 34 hours a week) Sometimes we are open half Fridays Requirements: - Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred - Experience in orthodontics is highly desirable - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and adolescents - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology Pay: $20-$30 (hourly) Benefits: - 401(k) matching - Employee discount - Paid time off - Paid training - Uniform allowance Experience: - Orthodontic assistant: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
