Fast growing specialty endodontic office in Dawsonville, GA is looking for a full time dental assistant to join our team. Experienced assistants are preferred but new grads are welcome to apply too. Salary is negotiable based on experience. No endodontics or previous root canal experience necessary. Only a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and be part of a cool experienced team of professionals. This is a full time position and must be able to work on Fridays. Looking for candidates proficient in x-ray taking. Responsibilities: Assist the endodontist during consultations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records using our easy to learn software. Qualifications: Proficient understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge. Experience with 3D scanners is a plus. 1 year previous experience in dental assisting is required. Ability to take PA and bitewing radiographs Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing excellent patient care. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory.
