Oral Surgery Clinical Assistant – Full Time (Atlanta, GA) Join a premier private-practice oral surgery team serving patients from our Buckhead and Dunwoody locations. We are seeking an experienced Surgical Clinical Assistant who takes pride in precision, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering a 5-star patient experience. Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:20AM – 4:20PM Friday: 7:20 AM – 2:20PM About Our Practice: We are a physician-owned oral surgery practice with two convenient locations in Buckhead and Dunwoody. Our team focuses on wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, oral pathology and IV sedation in a modern, fully digital environment. We are a close-knit group that supports one another, takes pride in clinical excellence, and values long-term relationships with our patients and referring dentists. Key Responsibilities • Assist chair-side during oral surgery procedures, including dental implants, extractions, bone grafting, biopsy procedures, and IV sedation cases. • Take and process CBCT and panoramic radiographs, and help maintain accurate, up to date digital patient records. • Record and monitor patient vital signs, review pre and post operative instructions with patients and escorts, and help keep patients comfortable, informed, and reassured throughout their visit. • Sterilize instruments according to protocol, turn over and prepare surgical suites between cases, and help maintain a safe, organized, and clean clinical environment. • Help maintain inventory of clinical supplies, medications, and dental implants, including monitoring stock levels and communicating needs to the clinical leadership team. • Occasionally support the front desk team with phones, scheduling, and managing referrals to ensure a smooth, efficient experience for patients and providers. Qualifications and Skills: • Prior dental and/or surgical assisting experience required (oral surgery experience strongly preferred). • Current CPR/BLS certification. • Strong communication skills, a professional chairside manner, and a genuine commitment to teamwork and patient care. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical setting with IV sedation and anesthesia. • Preferred qualifications include DAANCE certification, phlebotomy experience, and familiarity with WinOMS or similar software. Salary: Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with added compensation for advanced skills and certifications.
