The office Come join a woman-owned and operated practice that has been delivering superior dental care since 1961! Featuring two dentists and a staff of 12, we are located in a beautiful modern office on the 10th floor with great views! We are seeking a friendly, dependable and patient-focused hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis while one of our team members is on maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building patient relationships, delivering high-quality preventive care, and working alongside a supportive and experienced dental team. Emphasis on upcoming Mondays, but can grow into more. This position also has the potential to grow into permanent or long-term temp employment. Responsibilities • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride treatments • Take digital radiographs and intraoral images • Conduct periodontal charting and document clinical findings accurately • Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive dentistry • Assist doctors in identifying treatment needs and enhancing patient understanding • Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols • Help create a positive, comfortable, and elevated patient experience Qualifications • Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license • Strong communication and patient education skills • Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional demeanor What we offer • Competitive pay (based on experience) • A practice that values doing things the right way • Free access to facility’s gym and lots of other building amenities at your fingertips • Free on-site parking • Located steps from MARTA station
