Braces Now is seeking an energetic, patient-focused, and detail-oriented experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting efficient clinical operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is passionate about creating confident smiles. Clinical Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas and patients for orthodontic procedures Assist doctor during orthodontic appointments and treatment delivery Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by state regulations Perform bracket preparation and bonding support Assist with debonds and delivery of retainers Take digital scans, photographs, and radiographs as required Deliver and educate patients on aligners, retainers, and oral hygiene instructions Perform wire changes and appliance adjustments as directed Monitor patient progress and document treatment updates accurately Maintain clinical flow and assist with same-day starts Deliver 5 Star Patient Experience Welcome patients and create a positive office experience Educate patients and parents on treatment expectations and care Answer patient questions confidently and professionally Build relationships that encourage treatment acceptance and retention Clinical Operational Responsibilities Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Prepare instruments and operatories between patients Track clinical inventory and communicate supply needs Ensure treatment notes and documentation are completed accurately Support schedule efficiency and timely patient flow Assist teammates as needed to maintain office goals Qualifications Required 1-3 years Orthodontic Assisting experience X-ray certification (as required by state) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently Professional appearance and positive attitude Experience with digital scanners and orthodontic software Knowledge of Invisalign/clear aligner workflows Experience in a high-volume orthodontic office Success Metrics Excellent patient satisfaction scores Efficient chair utilization and schedule management Accurate clinical documentation Positive team collaboration Support office conversion and patient retention goals Full time employee's are required to work at both of our locations in Norcross and Buford, GA.
