Our schedule allows you to take care of personal appointments and errands without constantly needing to request time off *Monday and Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm *Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00am-1:00pm *Benefits package (health, dental, pet insurance, telehealth, paid time off and more) Qualifications: *Minimum 1 year of experience in dental assisting (oral surgery preferred) *Dependable and punctual *Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments *Competent and eager to learn *Xray certification (preferred/required per state regulations) *Excellent communication and patient care skills *Bilingual an absolute plus *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment *Willing to be coached, positive attitude,take initiative and contribute to an efficient team environment. Responsibilities of the position: *Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures *Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper set up for all procedures *Sterilize and maintain instruments according to infection control protocols *Prepare and position patients for surgery ensuring comfort and safety *Take and maintain accurate xrays, EMR and patient charting *Provide post-operative instructions and support to patients We take pride in providing exceptional patient care while supporting one another as a team.
