Position Details Schedule: Monday – Friday Benefits: Paid vacation and paid holidays Position: Full-Time Dental Assistant Experience: Previous dental assisting experience required Job Responsibilities The Dental Assistant will play an important role in helping our office run smoothly and ensuring our patients receive outstanding care. Responsibilities include: Assist the dentist during a variety of general dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment. Take dental X-rays and intraoral images. Assist with crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and other restorative procedures. Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols. Review and update patient medical histories and dental records. Educate patients on post-operative instructions and general oral health care. Help ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their appointments. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked operatories. Work closely with the dentist, hygienists, and front office team to provide excellent patient care. Assist with daily clinical operations and help keep the schedule running efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience as a dental assistant in a general dental practice. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Dependable, punctual, and motivated. Professional attitude and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control. Current dental radiology certification as required. Why Join Our Team?
