Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental hygiene and committed to patient care. They will have at least 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist, be capable of working autonomously, and be excited about the opportunity to learn and grow with our practice. This role has the potential to transition to a full-time position as our practice grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
• Perform detailed dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque and tartar.
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, assess gum health, and identify potential dental issues.
• Take and develop digital X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and maintaining overall dental health.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.
Clinical Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Work autonomously to manage patient appointments and ensure timely care delivery.
Office Support:
• Assist with managing patient flow and maintaining a smooth office operation.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Help with inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary dental supplies.
• Stay current with dental hygiene practices, technologies, and advancements.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving practice needs.
Qualifications:
• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist.
• Strong autonomy and ability to work independently.
• Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and infection control protocols.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing with the practice.
Work Schedule:

Dental Assistant Dynamic Mobile DentistryMacon, GA 31210
This position is for a dental assistant living in the Macon area to assist with treatment to residents in nursing homes and juvenile detention centers. The facilities we serve are all over the state, so travel is required. We provide a car and cover all travel expenses. Overnight stay is NOT required, but allowed. There are 2 positions available. One is full time, one is part time. The days are long, so most weeks you would only need to work 3-4 days, and still hit 40 hours.
Daily Responsibilities:
Meet dentist at the facility
Travel will be required depending on location of visit
Set up and break down equipment in clinic area
Assist dentist will procedures
Break down clinic
Take instruments back to office for sterilization
Repack unit for next travel day
Services provided include exams, oral cancer screenings, prophy, cavitron, x-rays, fillings, extractions, dentures and partial relines and repairs
Qualifications:
Dental assisting experience is preferred
Vaccinated for COVID-19 is required
Benefits:
Compensation based on experience
Company car is provided for travel
Only have to work 3 days for full time hours
Full time employees earn 2 weeks paid vacation and 10 days of holiday pay
