Part-Time General Anesthesiologist – Pediatric Dental Patients We are seeking a part-time General Anesthesiologist (board-certified or board-eligible) to join our dental team in providing safe, effective sedation and anesthesia for pediatric dental patients. Position Overview The Dental General Anesthesiologist will assess patients, administer anesthesia, monitor vital signs, and oversee recovery. You will collaborate closely with dental surgeons, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Pre-Anesthetic Assessment * Review medical histories and evaluate patient readiness for anesthesia. * Conduct consultations to identify risks and develop tailored anesthesia plans. Anesthesia Administration * Administer sedation or general anesthesia appropriate for each patient and procedure. * Perform nasal intubations when required. * Adjust anesthesia levels to maintain patient comfort and safety. Intraoperative Monitoring * Continuously monitor heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiration. * Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide emergency interventions as needed.
