Description

Are you passionate about orthodontic care and eager to be part of a exciting practice transition? We are seeking a motivated experienced Orthodontic Assistant to lead our team and help us build something extraordinary while continuing a great legacy. As an integral member of our practice, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care, establishing efficient workflows, and contributing to the growth and success of the practice. This role has the potential to increase hours as the practice grows. **Responsibilities:** -Availability every Monday and some Fridays - Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments - Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures - Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos - Maintain accurate patient records - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and care of orthodontic appliances - Assist in managing appointment scheduling, patient communications, and administrative tasks. -Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and equipment, and assist with ordering as needed. -Help establish and refine clinical protocols, workflows, and standard operating procedures. **Qualifications:** - Must have experience as an Orthodontic Assistant and working with clear aligners (this practice has a heavy aligner focus) -Proficiency with iTero scanner - Proficiency in recordkeeping and documentation - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols - Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and equipment - Strong understanding of anatomy and oral health principles - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment -Self motivated, flexible and adaptable -Availability every Monday and some Fridays Preferred Skills: - Experience with various orthodontic practice management softwares - Ability to take accurate imaging - Orthodontic administrative tasks and front office Join our team to contribute to creating beautiful smiles while providing exceptional patient care.
