Center for Advanced Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant for floating role between front and back office. Offering a $2,000 Sign on Bonus! DA experience at least 2 years, sedation dentistry a plus. Also crossed trained for front office check in / check out experience on Dentrix and taking payments. Insurance verification. Hours are M,T,W 8:45am to 5:00pm with an hour break, Thursdays 7-3pm also one hour break. The ideal candidate will accept that Mondays and Tuesdays would be for Dental assisting and Wednesdays and Thursdays would be front desk however the need of the office could change the flow if a Doctor is out the candidate would be upfront or fill where the need is. Duties include: Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment Take digital radiographs Scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out Treatment plan presentations Verifying insurance Answering phones Obtaining needed information Collecting payments Compensation: $2K sign on bonus!
