We are seeking a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills to join our state of the art dental implant based Oral/Maxillofacial surgery offices. If you are a professional who has a passion for helping people, we want to speak to you. We are looking for experienced applicants and we will consider recent graduates of dental assisting programs. Great customer service is a must. The Surgical Assistant assists the oral surgeon during procedures such as, dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, biopsy of gingiva and bone. The assistant will make notes about performed procedures, progress, recommendations and other subjects in the patient's charts. Surgical assistants must ensure that surgical instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized before procedures begin. Working with x-rays is common and be responsible for tasks such as checking vital signs or maintaining IV fluid flows during procedures.
