Temporary Oral Surgery Assistant (4-Month Assignment) Location: Gainesville and Duluth GA Duration: Approximately 4 months Pay Rate: $35 per hour Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Oral Surgery Assistant with DAANCE certification or similar experience This is an urgent need and requires someone who can step in with minimal training and operate confidently in a fast-paced oral surgery environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned oral surgery assistant seeking a well-paid opportunity. Key Responsibilities Chairside assisting for oral surgery procedures including extractions, implants, bone grafting, and IV sedation cases Preparing treatment rooms and surgical instruments in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Monitoring patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively Taking and processing digital radiographs and CBCT scans Assisting with IV setup, sedation monitoring, and emergency protocols Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and charting Ensuring efficient room turnover and smooth patient flow Supporting the surgeon and clinical team to maintain a high standard of patient care Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on oral surgery assisting experience required Experience with IV sedation and surgical procedures is required Current CPR/BLS certification required Radiology/X-ray certification required (state-specific as applicable) - We can help get this if you do not have Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization, and infection control Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a busy surgical practice Professional, reliable, and patient-focused Compensation & Benefits $35 per hour for qualified, experienced oral surgery assistants Immediate start preferred Why This Role Premium hourly pay due to urgency and experience level required Join a professional, established oral surgery practice Interested candidates should apply immediately.
