We are immediately seeking an experienced DENTAL ASSISTANT to join our Pediatric Dental office. Responsibilities: • Operatory turnover, hygiene assist, chairside assist for restorative treatments, sterilization, manage all lab cases with 3D scans, and taking digital x-rays. • Maintain detailed electronic dental records and thorough documentation of all patient communication, x-rays, scans and patient forms. • Front office duties will also be included as follows: appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out at front desk and phone/email appointment inquiries and reminders. • Verify dental insurance eligibility and detailed benefits, effectively communicate estimates and financial responsibilities to clients, and collect payments. • Help maintain the overall cleanliness of the dental office. Qualifications: • Must have degree or dental assisting certificate including x-ray proficiency. • Previous experience in pediatric dentistry strongly recommended. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software required. Prior use of Dentrix Ascend is strongly preferred. • Candidates must be highly motivated and have the organizational skills to successfully ensure our office operates in a timely and friendly manner, while upholding our dedication to provide a clean, safe, fun environment for our patients and families at all times.
