Join Our Team as a Lead Dental Assistant! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care while supporting and strengthening our clinical team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations, mentoring staff, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Work Schedule: Monday 9-4 Tuesday - Thursday 8-5 Position Overview The Lead Dental Assistant is essential for both exceptional clinical care and effective team leadership. This role requires solid chairside skills, strong organizational abilities, and the confidence to mentor and support fellow assistants, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. Clinical Duties: Assist the doctor during a  wide range of dental procedures Take high-quality digital x-rays Perform 3D digital scans Prepare and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Set up and bread down operatories efficiently Fabricate temporary crowns Ensure accurate and thorough clinical charting and notes Educating and supporting patients on the treatment needed Provide post operative instructions and patient education Maintain proper inventory of clinical supplies Leadership Duties: Lead and support the dental assisting team Help train and onboard new assistants Ensure consistent clinical protocols and standards are followed Monitor schedule flow and assist in optimizing clinical efficiency High level of communication between the doctor, business team, and clinical team Assist with ordering supplies and managing inventory control Identify areas for workflow improvement and help implement solutions Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience X-ray and CPR certification Strong knowledge of dental procedures and workflow Excellent communicator with a compassionate touch Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Proactive, flexible, and positive team oriented attitude What We Offer:  A supportive, fun, and collaborative professional team Competitive pay + comprehensive benefits package Opportunity for continued growth and training State of the art office with modern dental technology
