# Experienced Dental Assistant **Atlanta West Dentistry – Atlanta, GA** ## Job Summary Atlanta West Dentistry is seeking a skilled, dependable, and patient-focused **Experienced Dental Assistant** to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced dental practice. The ideal candidate has excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a positive attitude. Experience with digital dentistry and advanced dental technology is highly valued. Responsibilities * Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures. * Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative, cosmetic, implant, and surgical procedures. * Take digital dental radiographs. * Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. * Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. * Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes. * Manage inventory and restock treatment rooms. * Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. * Collaborate with the front office and clinical team to provide exceptional patient care. ## Qualifications * Minimum of **2 years of dental assisting experience** preferred. * Dental Assisting certification (if required by Georgia regulations). * Current CPR certification. * Experience with digital X-rays and electronic dental records. * Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
