The following duties of this role are preparing decontaminates and sterilize surgical instruments by assembling surgical trays operating the autoclave and maintain inventory. Key responsibilities -Collecting used instruments and manually or mechanically cleaning them to remove blood, tissue , and biological contaminants. - Inspecting tools for functionality, assembling specific surgical tray kits using count sheets and properly wrapping them for sterilization. -Operating equipment such as steam autoclaves and washer - Put away clean sterile instruments in their desired area. - Break down surgical and consult rooms - Set up surgical and consult rooms -
