Featuring two dentists and a staff of 12, we are located in a beautiful modern office on the 10th floor with great views! The role We’re looking for an experienced Insurance Coordinator who knows dental insurance inside and out – not just basic verification, but how to actually work claims, solve problems and get things paid. This role is critical to our operation. You’ll own insurance workflows from verification through claim resolution and help ensure a smooth financial experience for our patients. What you’ll do • Verify insurance benefits accurately and proactively (frequencies, limitations, downgrades) • Submit clean claims with proper narratives and attachments • Track, follow up, and resolve outstanding claims • Work denials and resubmissions (not just write them off) • Communicate clearly with patients about coverage and out-of-pocket costs • Post insurance payments and reconcile EOBs/ERAs • Identify trends and issues with payers and help improve processes • Collaborate with front desk and clinical team to prevent billing issues upfront Must-have experience • Strong working knowledge of: Dentrix (required), Vyne (claims, attachments, eligibility) and Dental Intelligence (especially eligibility + insights) • Proven experience handling: Claim denials and appeals, insurance breakdowns and accurate estimates, and out-of-network workflows • Ability to read and interpret EOBs confidently • Detail-oriented and organized What sets you apart • You don’t just “submit and hope,” rather you follow through • You can explain insurance to patients in plain English • You take ownership and solve problems without being asked • You’re a team player who communicates clearly and respectfully • Punctual What we offer • Competitive pay (based on experience) • A practice that values doing things the right way • 401(K) with 3% match after one year of employment • Dental benefits • Continuing education benefits • Free access to facility’s gym and lots of other building amenities at your fingertips • Free on-site parking • Located steps from MARTA station
