What You'll Do • Welcome patients and guide them through treatment recommendations and financial arrangements. • Present treatment plans, explain fees, and discuss financing options. • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorizations. • Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims. • Resolve claim denials, outstanding balances, and billing discrepancies. • Collect patient payments and establish payment plans when appropriate. • Maintain accurate patient accounts and documentation. • Coordinate treatment scheduling with providers and clinical staff. • Communicate professionally with patients, referring offices, and insurance companies. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations. Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental or medical billing and treatment coordination. • Experience in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, or another dental specialty preferred. • Strong knowledge of dental insurance, claim submission, and accounts receivable. • Experience verifying benefits and explaining financial responsibilities to patients. • Familiarity with dental practice management software. • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
