We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for Friday's only, 7:45AM to 12:00PM. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of oral health, and contributing to a positive patient experience. You will work closely with dentists and support staff in a fast-paced dental office environment, utilizing your expertise in dental hygiene practices. Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Assist in the documentation review of patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical terminology. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry during procedures. Manage patient care effectively, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient records, and treatment planning. Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental health. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Ability to perform tasks efficiently while adhering to aseptic techniques. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is an asset.
