Job Title: Associate Dentist — Established Fee-for-Service Private Practice — North Richland Hills, TX Job Description: Rufe Snow Dental Group is a 42-year fee-for-service private practice in North Richland Hills, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth metro). We are Kois Center–trained, with two full hygiene columns, modern operatories, a stable patient base, and a low-turnover team. We are not a DSO. We are not for sale. We are not chasing volume at the expense of quality. We have a clearly articulated growth plan over the next three to four years. The first hire in that growth plan is our incoming associate dentist. This is a deliberate, long-term build — not a transactional fill. THE OPPORTUNITY The right person will: — Step into a backlogged hygiene-driven schedule from week one. No waiting around for the practice to find you patients. — Build their patient base on the personal endorsement of a Kois-trained owner, including direct mentorship on case planning, treatment communication, and clinical technique. — Grow into a long-term home with real clinical autonomy and a clearly defined trajectory inside a private practice that's investing in its future, not preparing to sell. — Work in a practice that respects the doctor-patient relationship — same-day adjustments are real, second opinions are honored, patients are not a queue to be processed. COMPENSATION STRUCTURE — LOCUM-TO-PERMANENT This role is structured as a paid locum-to-permanent pathway. Both phases are clearly defined. Phase 1 — Locum Bridge (Weeks 1-12): — 1099 locum tenens, defined start and end — Per diem rate $800/day — Schedule 3-4 days/week to start, mutually agreed — Candidate carries malpractice during locum period. Real-world trial period for both sides before permanent commitment Phase 2 — Permanent W-2 (Week 12+): — Employed by a newly formed associate practice LLC at the same address — Compensation: greater of $800/day guarantee OR 30% of net collections, whichever is higher — Daily guarantee in effect for the first 6 months, transitions to pure 30% of collections after, $2,500 annual CE budge, Lab fees split per portion of production (standard structure) we are a CEREC office and you're more than welcome to design your fixed— Insurance mix: select PPO contracts (Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, Guardian, Principal — pending fee analysis) credentialed under the new entity, alongside continued FFS pathway WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Initial focus is on hygiene exam handoffs, comprehensive new patient exams, restorative work (direct restorations, crown and bridge, simple endo), and patient education. As you ramp and demonstrate clinical comfort, we expand the scope into your areas of interest. For the first 12 months, complex sedation cases, surgical implant placement, and full-arch reconstruction stay with the owner. This is intentional — it lets you build patient relationships at your own pace without being thrown into the deep end on day one. By month 18-24, we revisit which procedures you want to take on, including cosmetic, advanced endo, surgical, or other interests. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR — Texas dental license, or eligible for Texas licensure within 60 days of hire — 1-5 years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred (open to strong new graduates with a residency) — Strong fundamentals in restorative dentistry, simple endo, and crown and bridge — Genuine interest in private practice as a long-term career — not a stepping stone to a DSO or a corporate role — Calm, patient-centered chairside demeanor, able to have honest treatment conversations — Coachable and curious, willing to learn from a senior mentor and contribute ideas of your own WHAT WE ARE NOT So you can self-select cleanly: — We are not a DSO and we are not consolidating with one. — We are not a Medicaid mill or a high-volume insurance shop. PPO contracts are intentionally limited to mid-tier plans with reasonable fees. — We do not pressure-sell unnecessary treatment. Our growth comes from a strong patient base, not from quotas. — We are not looking for someone to fill a chair for 12 months and leave. We are hiring for the long-term build. HOW TO APPLY Send the following to [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info]: Current CV Texas dental license number (or status if pending) A short paragraph (3-5 sentences) on why a private fee-for-service practice with select PPO is the right fit for the next phase of your career Three references (we will contact only if we move forward) We typically respond within 48 hours. Selected candidates are invited to a 30-minute video screen, then a half-day paid working interview at the practice (paid at locum per diem). All inquiries treated confidentially. A note from Dr. Sirotinski: I've spent years building this practice and I'm now investing in the next chapter. I want to find the right person — someone I can mentor, who shares the values that have built our patient base, and who wants to grow with us long-term. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you.
