Travel Dental Hygienist Orchard Hill Dental is an independent, fee-for-service practice in the mountains of western North Carolina, hiring a travel dental hygienist on a defined contract to join our team during an active hygiene expansion. This is unhurried, quality-driven hygiene: because the practice is out-of-network and does not answer to insurance production quotas, appointments are scheduled for the time the patient actually needs. If you are a licensed hygienist who wants to practice at the top of your training without a corporate clock running, this contract is built for you. The role ● 12-week initial contract, renewable by mutual agreement ● One full hygiene column in a modern, six-operatory practice ● Adult recall, periodontal therapy, and supportive care for an established, loyal patient base ● Digital charting, digital radiography, and AI-assisted caries screening ● A clinical team that runs on defined systems, not daily improvisation Schedule ● Four-day clinical week: [Monday–Thursday] ● Consistent hours, a real lunch, and a schedule you can plan your life around Compensation & travel support ● Competitive contract rate: $55-60 ● Weekly housing and travel stipend ● W-2 contract position. As a defined-term travel role, compensation is a flat contract rate and sits outside the practice's permanent tenure-based pay structure.
